As a child, I wanted to become a researcher and a teacher—today, I am both. At the University of Vienna, I conduct research on the professional development of teachers for linguistically diverse contexts. In my podcast, I talk with experts from various subject didactics about quality teaching: theoretically grounded, practice-oriented, and sometimes personal.

We discuss different approaches to teaching, current research, exciting practical examples, and key questions around teaching and learning—from the classroom to the seminar room. The goal is to make research insights and practical experiences accessible to a broader audience.
My guests have teaching experience and have written a dissertation in subject didactics or teaching and learning research. However, it’s also about their personal perspectives and experiences, revealing the people behind the expertise.
