In this special episode of Didaktik:Dialog, I ask all guests of the second season the same question: What makes good teaching? Sharing their perspectives are Jochen Heins, Birke Sturm, Alexandra Schurz-Vogelsang, Peter Riegler, Sandra Reitbrecht, Stefan Meller, Lisa-Maria Müller and Cathrin Reisenauer – eight voices from literature education, art pedagogy, English didactics, educational science, primary science education and inclusive pedagogy. We explore what makes content genuinely meaningful for learners, why active engagement matters and why there is no one-size-fits-all recipe for good teaching. What stands out: despite coming from vastly different subjects and contexts, all guests ultimately describe the same moment: When students are so absorbed in what they are doing that the lesson is over before anyone thought to check the clock.
